I know that throughout the year..whether it be for getting up to go to work..or barely sleeping through finals week at school..our baggy tired eyes take a serious toll.

There is nothing more unappealing about having baggy puffy eyes in the morning..but sometimes our concealer cannot even conceal our tired eyes.

Here are some tips on how to have bright and awake eyes even through the toughest part of the year!

Remember..the more awake and fresh you look..the more confident you will feel. It’s all about confidence!

1) Get Enough Sleep

It’s important to get enough sleep in order to prevent dark circles and puffy tired eyes. Sleep aids the body in repairing damaged skin and also works to keep our eyes bright. So try not to skimp on sleeping time…(if you can..)

2) Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol

Caffeine and Alcohol tend to dehydrate your skin and make eyes more dark. Instead..drink lots of water. It firms your skin and makes it much brighter.

3) Skin Lightening Moisturizer

Use a moisturizer that contains green tea, vitamin c, retinal or kojic acid. These skin creams have skin lightening qualities that will work to brighten up your under eye.

4) Light Concealer

Invest in a lighter concealer, use only in the corners and dark sections of your under eye. This will help brighten up your eyes and make them look as if they are not as dark.

5) Cool Compress

Use a chilled moist green tea bag, or a frozen bag of carrots or peas and place them on your eyes. Leave there for 10-15 minutes. This will help reduce those puffy dark circles!
